Government College Madappally is situated on a green-clad hillock, 7 Kms north of Vatakara, adjacent to the Arabian Ocean in the West. The campus is rich with greenery, having all the lushness and serenity of a rural retreat. The college was established in 1958 with six decades of glowing academic record, thereafter. It was shifted to a new building with new courses in 1963, marking the first major shift since its beginning.
