Government College Madappally is situated in Madappally, Onchiyam Panchayath in Vadakara Taluk of Kozhikode district. It is a major centre for higher education coming under the jurisdiction of University of Calicut. The college started functioning in 1958. The B.Sc mathematics course was started in the college in 1959, when the college was upgraded to an under graduate institute. The department is offering B.Sc Mathematics Programme only with Physics and Statistics as complementary courses.
